How I Healed My Son's Psoriasis Using Medical Medium's Healing Protocol
My son developed psoriasis early on as a baby and seeing those first patches on his skin stirred up so many emotions in me. First, the overwhelming mum guilt - Was this my fault? Had I passed this on to him? Should I have taken more steps with cleanses before getting pregnant? I couldn’t help but picture him going through the same struggles I faced as a child - endless doctor visits with no real answers, the burning and stinging of steroid creams, sleepless nights spent scratching until my skin bled and the constant self-consciousness of trying to hide my psoriasis from others.
When he was six months old, I started him on the Medical Medium protocols, which had already been transformative in my own healing journey. I started him on celery juice every morning, followed by the Medical Medium Heavy Metal Detox Smoothie and focused on feeding him living, healing foods as he began solids. I made sure all well-known troublemaker foods were not in his diet - eggs, dairy, gluten, corn, seed oils, soy and processed ingredients. His psoriasis became so manageable and his skin began to clear beautifully.
For a long time, this approach worked so well. But as he grew older, new challenges emerged. I couldn’t always control what he was eating. He started getting little treats at school that I wasn’t aware of, attending birthday parties with foods that triggered his symptoms and spending time with family members who, despite their best intentions, didn’t fully understand the impact certain foods could have on his skin. (Grandparents, I’m looking at you! )
Recently, his psoriasis flared again. While the before and after photo only shows his legs, the flare had spread to his back, stomach and elbow creases. To get back on track, I returned to the foundations of healing:
✅ Celery Juice – First thing every morning on an empty stomach to flush out toxins and support his liver. He has had celery juice daily since he was six months old and it remains pivotal to his healing. Increasing his morning celery juice intake made a world of difference!
✅ Heavy Metal Detox Smoothie – A daily essential to remove metals that contribute to inflammation and skin conditions.
✅ Avoiding Trigger Foods – Cutting out dairy, eggs, gluten, soy, corn and seed oils - all "Troublemaker Foods". I always try to go organic where my budget allows, but he is always able to heal on non-organic fruit & vegetables.
✅ Incorporating More Healing Foods – Increasing his intake of wild blueberries, melons, cucumbers, papaya and raw honey to soothe and repair his skin from the inside out. I also made sure he was drinking lemon & honey water throughout the day to further support detoxification.

The results? Within weeks, his skin started improving again. The patches softened, the redness faded and the itching stopped. This experience reminded me that healing isn’t linear - setbacks can happen. They’re just gentle nudges to realign with what our bodies truly need.
I know some people may judge me for not letting my child have a ‘normal childhood’ in their eyes, but I find that idea so strange. Since when did feeding kids junk food filled with chemicals - many of which are linked to illness and even cancer - become the definition of normal? My children still enjoy treats like chips, cake, cookies, lollies and ice cream, but I choose healthier versions without all the unnecessary additives. They are the most beautiful, happy kids who aren't missing out at all - they’re simply enjoying treats made with real, wholesome ingredients.
Seeing my son happy, comfortable and free from the pain of psoriasis means everything to me. What people don’t see are the nights he would scratch so much that his skin bled, crying in pain while asking for a hug - it broke my heart. I’m sharing our journey because I know so many parents are navigating similar struggles. If your child is dealing with psoriasis or other skin symptoms, please know that healing is possible. It may take time and adjustments along the way, but our bodies are always working toward healing when we give them the right support.
Every child is different and healing isn’t about perfection - it’s about meeting them where they’re at and taking baby steps. Small, consistent changes can lead to incredible transformations. Mamas are incredible - caring for little ones is challenging enough, and guiding them through healing takes even more patience, strength and love. But trust me, it is so worth it.
